HELP -- injectors stuck ?

I have the removed the runners and just about everything else in the rats nest surrounding my # 2 & 4 injectors. Finally they are fully exposed and there is some kind of clip holding them into the fuel rail. Anyone have any idea what to do with this clip so I can remove the injector from the fuel rail ?

thx, RP.

The clip is sort of shaped like a "c", but the top and bottom parts are extended. What you need to do is take a screwdriver and spin the clip around so that the two wide parts (top and bottom of the "C") are not obstructing the injector from being pulled out. They should face away from the fuel rails, and the open part of the "C" should face the rail. Basically you just need to spin the clip until the injector pulls out.

Thx, for the help. I turned the clip 1/4 turn and pulled the injectors down from the rail and out they came.

The new injectors are in and the car runs great again.
