Call me dumb all you want lol, but i got a simple q..

What year did GM stop producing TPI w/ cold start? I have a TPI system.. it has cold start, and i plan on blocking it off and using an 89 ECM/harness. I am swapping from TBI to TPI, and need to figure out what year the tpi is so i know what throttle cable to get.

89-92 tpi did not have cold start.

 

Okay, well i know that the 85-86 TPI's used the old style heads, so my setup must be a 87-88 sense the four middle patter is on a 73'.
