man..I just found out i have one in my Z and I know the car is running pig rich. Anyone running one? How much timing and FP does it bump you up? Is it only at WOT or all the time...thanx

I just tried an SLP prom for a 1987 350 IROC and the prom did not work very well. The prom does not bump up the fuel pressure but it does effect timing. I ran back to back testing of this prom and many others at the drag strip with my scanner hooked up for each run. The SLP prom slowed my car down 2 tenths from the best proms that I tried. The reason my car slowed down was the lack of timing the SLP prom gave me. The SLP prom would only give me 22.8 degrees of ignition advance while the better performing proms were giving me 29 to 32 degrees of ignition advance. The 29 to 32 degrees of advance plus my 6 degrees of initial advance gave me a total of 35 to 38 degrees of total advance from the good proms. The SLP setup was only giving me a total of 29 degrees of advance.
