Which rockers for ED 6085s?
Later this winter or early spring i am going to put on my mildly worked Edelbrock 6085s. I am happy with the cam lift I have so I am going to use 1.5 rockers. Now my question is, which roller rockers am I limited to because of the centerbolt valve covers? Are there alot of options? What are you guys running with these heads? Responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well I'm not much help, sorry, cause I used the Crane Cam Gold ones for center bolt valve covers. Very expensive!
I know other guys here have used different ones but I can't remember which ones.
Hopefully this put it to the top again and someone will answer it for you.
Good Luck!

You can run pretty much any rrs you want to if you are willing to do some modifying the stock valve covers. You take the support inside that is closer to the intake you cut out the the support that is parallel to the gasket surface. If you cut that longer side out you will have no problem running any rocker you want to just not shaft mount.
