No more stupid A/C !!!!! HURRAY!!!!!

Today I ordered an A/C delete pulley from the dealer and bought a heater cover from non A/C car for 20$CDN. I can't wait to take that stupid A/C out.

It should give me more room under the hood and will shave off some pounds too.

My smog pump is out too.

Anybody want my A/C? Just kidding.

Thats great and all, but there's no real tech content. If you add the part numbers i'll let it live, otherwise it's the axe in the am, lol

The A/C delete pulley part #is 10055890.
I do not know what the part # is for the box. Just call the dealer and ask. I am positive that it will not be cheap.

I picked mine up at the local junkyard in Edmonton. I had their mechanic pull it out for me. It is in perfect shape, little dusty though.

When I opened the hood of this 85 camaro in the junk yard everything was gone except that heater box.

ed - sorry, that word may have offended some, no sweat though

Ummm, i just noticed this in your sig. Have you noticed that 235/60s are about 0.7" TALLER than a 265/50. It seems like you're running this combo of tire on purpose, and i just wanted to point out that aesthetically a taller tire on the front than the rear just looks horrible on these cars. I know from experience. I ran the same 265/50 futuras on my 85 for a while just to see how they fit on a 7" rim, and at the time i still had 215/65s on the front (just a hair shorter than a 235/60) and everytime i looked at it i wished i had the $$$ to slap an appropriate sized tire on the front. It's your car and you're welcome to do what you want, but the proprotions just don't look right IMO, it kills the rake on the car. A 225/60 would be a little better, it's only a hair taller than the 265/50. A 215/60 would put the car back on the proper rake, being ~0.4" shorter than a 265/50. But then you're into the big wheel gap syndrome of running short tires.
I know, kinda non-tech, bt it's my board, lol.

When I bought my first camaro I replaced my old tires with the Tiger Paw 235/75/R15

They looked terrible. Looked like a tractor from behind.

Sorry no tech content Ed.
