SLP Runners ported, whoops!
Hello,
I bought a set of SLP siamese runners, and noticed some of the ports wern't completly
round, so I ported them, and opened 'em up a tad.
I was talking to SLP today about throttle plates, and mentioned that the ports wern't completly round. They said "Yeah, believe it or not it gets rid of turbulance".
Now i'm kinda wondering if porting them was
a bad idea.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm not really sure what they are telling you, and keep in mind that the people you talk to on the phone may or may not know what the he11 they are talking about, but it is hard enough to feed a 355 (or larger) engine through a long tube runner setup. So any porting you do is gonna be beneficial for your setup, with the large cam and better heads with bigger valves that are better suited to higher rpm power, as it will broaden your power band.

Better fuel atomization ????
TPI is a Dry flow, so that wouldn't work. Port them big sales people are stupid plain and simple.
Hence there are tech departments and sales department.
Sales = smoke up ***
Tech = Why the **** you do that it worked fine before
Port more if you can more = better.
ok im done for now.
