I have a stock tpi intake and throttle body. I plan on moding it with slp runners, but is there any runners for cheaper? Im also looking for a new intake manifold. Any suggestions? With new runners and manifold would it be very benifical siamesing the pleneum to the manifold? Also I want it to look almost stock. Money is a factor!

 

SLP are the cheapest, unless you get some used. There is almost always a set for sell in the classifieds on this site. The manifolds are pretty much all the same, get which ever one you can find the cheapest. As for looking stock, your would be better off buying some big tube runner., the siamesed runners look very different from stock. Big tubes look like bigger versions of the stock ones. Once you get all your stuff, port it out and gasket match everything. You may find it cheaper to find someone who is switching to a miniram, superram, or LT1 and buy their old set up.
