fuel injector help....

i need to buy new injectors for my 88 trans am gta.. it has the 350 engine so it came with 22lb injectors.... i was wondering where is the best place to buy new injectors.... and what would be the best ones for my application check my sig..... i dont want to pay 80-120 per injector.... ive heard about the 24 svo injectors but i dunno about those because i heard that those need tunning....... can someone give me a part number or sumthing where i could find a set of new injectors for a reasonable price..... these things are expensive...

I would go with the SVO 24# injectors. You can get them cheap on ebay:

Looking at the mods in your sig, I don't think you'll need too much tuning. Also, I see that you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. You could always just lower the pressure a little, which will decrease injector flow.

Re: fuel injector help....

Pretty sure the facory Bosh style injectors have come way doow in price over the years, I never liked the idea of a bigger injector at lower fuel pressure, doue to loss of atomization of the fuel...instead of "spraying", you start to dribble it in.

Used to be able to get the newer 4th gen injector (basically factory take offs) from SLP fr under a 100 bucks...they were rated at much higher pressure, but when all said and done on the calculations for Thirdgens, they were spot on.

Funny about Accell injectors, I ran two sets in the past and never had issues..so I'd recommemend the 21lb/hr Accells and bump the pressue up a scooch...but others have had bad luck with them...dunno, may I got lucy twice.
