wont idle by itsself

i have a 88 ta 305 tpi and it wont idle by its self....i cleaned my iac and i think it is my tps...no codes...it runs great when u keep ur foot on the gas.....helllllp!!!!! please!!!!

First, adjust the IAC and TPS properly, using this process (takes like 20 minutes):

That fixed my idle problems, and most likely is the culprit. The TPS is easy to check, you'll need a digital multi-meter though. You can pick one up for as little as $10 from RadioShack, Fry's, etc. Mine is a $10 cheapo digital one from Fry's, and it works great.

its the ignition pick up coil located in bottom of the distributor

its not that it was my iac motor not responding...new one and it cured it
