Did it start studdering before or after you changed the wires?

Did you change the cap and rotor?

Have you verified every cyl is firing?

I've had my share of ignition problems over the years. A timing light works wonders for
checking cyls.

It was studdering before the plugs and wires... thats why we changed them in the first place, but all we changed was the plugs and wires... not the cap and rotor. It seemed to have fixed the problem, but it didnt.

Havent checked to see if every cyl is firing no. Its just when you cruise.... not accelerating or idle as much.

The 2.8L studdered real bad one time and the wire was melted/burned... but that was just under a load, so I was thinking it shouldnt be the plugs/wires...

Havent checked the fule filter yet either.

The GTA is relativly new (w/ in the past few weeks or so) and its got very low miles. The tires were dry rotted and all so it was not driven hard at all. It was 100% stock and looked like the pic in the sig. So I dont know how often the guy changed anything. The plugs were rusted, but still fired well... little things like that to show that it was well taken care of/ not abused. No scrape marks on the nose, etc etc.
