best cam for ZZ4 w/fully ported SuperRam

I spoke with a tech at Lingenfelter. He said if I got the cam made for the SR, it would be good for about 360 hp and 400 ft/lb of torque. Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't this sound...weak? I was thinking about going to an lt4 HOT cam kit, but he said "his" cam was better (of course). I would like some feedback from you guys here: What is the best cam for a ZZ4 w/SR fully ported? What power numbers could I see?

I know several people that are very happy with the HOT cam. But Lignefelter also has some very good choices. Remember the TPI even with the shorter runner length of the Superram is big on TQ and not on HP so 360hp sound high to me but 400ft/lb sounds low.

The hot cam (Dur. at .50 218/228, lift .525 with a 1.6 ratio) has about the same specs as the LPE 219 cam (219/219 Dur. and .560 lift) which is intended for use with the super ram. I would guess there's not more than a 5-10 hp difference with the lingenfelter cam over the GM cam and that's because it has more lift. Yes, 360 hp and 400 foot lbs. sounds right for the motor mentioned. The main bottleneck are the stock ZZ-4 heads. With a good porting job done on them the hp may jump to 380. Putting a set of AFR 190's on the same motor would probably put the engine in the 400hp+ range, which would be awesome for the street.

Blk 89 IROC-Z, mods: 355 Super ram, forged pistons, ported and polished vette heads, LT-4 hot cam, Coan 700R4 trans and 2500 stall conv., Edelbrock tes headers and intake,Performance Resource custom chip, Flowmaster catback,no cat, and all that free stuff. Best 1/4 time on stock engine was 14.6 at 94 with catback, trans, tq conv., and free mods.

Ok.... The flywheel specs on a ZZ4 are already 355 HP with 405 ft/lbs of torque.
I would think changing over to a bigger cam and 1.6 rockers would be good for more than
5 or so HP?
Unless you are saying that the Superram and LTR setup are actually decreasing HP?

I hope not, cause that's the setup I have in my car!

Are we comparing net to gross HP ratings again?
Maybe thats the difference?
