I have a 350 speed density tpi system but I want to put it on my 305. What do I have to change? I know the prom will have to be changed. Can I use the injectors or do I have to change them too? The manifold should bolt right in right?

The stock injectors from the 350 are 22lb, the stock injectors on the 305 are 19lb. So will either need new injectors or have your chip modified for the 22lb injectors. Also the knock sensor should be different for the 305 and 350. Depending on the year of your 305 heads, the manifold may not bolt on. 1987 and up heads and intake have a slightly different middle bolt angle than pre-87. I believe your middle intake manifold bolt holes can be fairly easily modified if needed.

There may be other things too.

 

I have a 91 transam tpi manifold and a 91 camaro 305 so the bolt holes wont be an issue. I didnt know about the knock sensor so that helped. I will need the chip modified anyway from 350 to 305 specs. So i think i will just keep the injectors. Thank you for the help. Does anone know if there is anything else i should look for?
