I have an 85 305 tpi T/A, I bought an SLP cold air package. The two rubber hoses connect at the MAF, but it doesn't seem to be there on my car. Mine just has a flat air box that goes over to the filter housing. A mechanic buddy (I'm a bodyman) said I have speed density. I thought that was on 90 up models. I'm confused, what's up?

 

Maybe a former owner had converted it to SD?

Pull out your ECM and post the numbers on the white sticker. I'll tell you if its Speed density or not.
