Fuel pump suggestions

I must replace the fuel punp in my 90 formula, 305 TPI. Is the stock pump adequate? If I'm gonna upgrade I need something that's available at an everyday parts store, i.e; Pep Boys, Auto Zone, Advance. I read somewhere that to pump from a 96 chevy truck w/ 350 vortec is direct fit and flows more. I found that on the net awhile back and I've just spent the last two hours looking for that again. Please help, make suggestions ASAP

i replaced mine with the stock pump and it's fine. you didn't mention if your planning on some higher horsepower or not, but i'm guessing your not i'd say you'll be fine. i'm running the stock pump with 300 horses, but i have an external booster pump as well for my 150 shot on NOS.
