Hmmmm...

OK, so now I have a broke crankshaft to deal with! It broke behind the timing chain. Does anyone know of a CHEAP pace to get a short block? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kev

BTW... It will still start and RUN, throws the belt IMMEDIATELY!!

If the crank was broken behind the timing gear, the engine wouldnt run. Who told you you broke the crank? Are you just throwing the serp belt?
More details please
Mike

i agree with DesertIROC. your car would not start if you "broke" the crank.
