Hmmmm...

Maybe when you take a corner at 140, your heads still pointing straight yet your looking at the inside corner...

Yea, that wasnt too fun today...

Its time to swap out the baldies on the rear before i kill myself! (or god forbid anyone else!)

So how often do you guys swap out your tires? Do you wait till their at the wires too?

No useable tread left.

Bad uneven wear patterns.

flat spottng that wont go away with driving.

After about 5 yrs the rubber is destroyed anyhow so u need to replace them.

Dry rotting, cracks, etc

Big'ole holes in them from road stuff etc.

Dont play with tires, I see wayyyyyyyyy too many people driving beyond poorly maintained cars.

well i just wanted to get my moneys worth out of these big ol winter tires, theirs gotta be 50km of rubber around this place from burnin these off

Now i dont know what i should do for new tires...

I've still got 4 awesome low pro tires that were on the car when it came up from down south. But their totally useless up here, the roads are brutal. I would either end up with a bashed rim or rip my exhaust off.

Right now i have some 215/70R15's all around and i would like to go with something a bit taller and alot wider on the rear and use some smaller tires up front to get a nice rake...

Ive searchd a million threads and theirs a million different answers, but does anyone know for sure if i can run a 30" tire on the back and how wide can i go with the stock 15" 84z rim? (their 15x7 rims are they not?)

275/60/R15, BFG radial TA's for the rear. 235/60/R15 for the fronts. The fronts are going to be the same height as the stock 215/65/R15's, so if that's what you want, good....

Look for some pics of mwnova's car, he had 275/60's on those wheels, gives a nice stance... I have them, but it's on 8" wide 2nd gen wheels, so it'll be slightly different looking... (less bulge, different offset maybe?)

not exactly a glory shot but...

hmmm, thanks sonix.

Hopefully that extra inch on the rear tires will help a tad since the tips of my exhaust like to touch every once in a while!

But with a inch drop on the front hopefully i wont start dragging the h-pipe or collectors.

time for new front springs? moog5664's are about $100 for the pair, and really stiffened the front end of my car.

I think the front springs are fine, if anything the rears are sagging a tad.

One of these days ill be rebuilding the suspension, i think some things are starting to loosen up a bit, ill probably throw in 4 new springs while im in there. Along with the usual poly bushings and all the goodies.
