305 prom w/350 eng

I am trying to find out if the problem with the way my car is running might be that I haven't changed anything ECM wise on the car. The car had a 305 tpi and now has a 350 tpi. Also the dist. out of the 1986 305 is being used in the 1991 350. Will this work or are the dist. gears different enough to matter. The car idles rough and seems to have a miss at all speeds. How many parts/ sensors are interchangeable between the two engines.

Parts replaced/adjusted:
Plugs, Cap, rotor, 8mm wires, TPS-.56v-4.09 @WOT

I would appreciate any help with this.

Re: 305 prom w/350 eng

Go over all your spark plugs and wires and make sure they are tight, and they are in the correct order.

I was able to use a 305 5-speed chip with 19lbs injectors on a 350 5-speed with 22lbs injectors. It wasnt the best but it worked.
