After watching the film Aliens last night and today working on my car, it seems that looking at a TPI setup from the side bears a strong resembalance to the alien critter that pops out of a nesting pod and attaches to your face. Then again, it could be the Mich. Lights I consumed last night.

 

Several members have commented that the TPI intake looks like "an alien humping the engine."

Uhm, the black plastic air intake is the tail.
