can you get a pic from the top/front of it i thinking part of the gm spark control i had one ewas near the ecm but mine was yellow i was told it was to help control the spark

That would be the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) Burn Off Module. It was used only on the 1985 TPI's. In the later years, it was incorporated into the ECU.
