What does everyone think about the JET Stage I chip?

Going to put a Jet Stage I chip in a 91 Z28, 5.7.. Its completely stock.
Will this chip work with the VATS ?
Any Suggestions for anticipated problems?

Don't get it. It basically just adds a little bit of timing. For the price of it you can get your own chip burning equipment and learn how to do it yourself.

I got a mail order tune from PCMFORLESS.com, and it added a no kidding 25 hp to the car for if I remember correctly $180 shipped. Thats what I would suggest if you just want 70-85% of the potential in a tune (my best guess) done right NOW and with no trouble to you. It was a 25 minute install.

The only thing it will do is take the money from your wallet and put it in their wallet.

Off-the-shelf chips such as JET and Hypertech do very little for the money they charge. You dont need them, especially on a stock vehicle.

Change your distributor initial timing from 6 degrees to 10 degrees, and install a lower temp fan switch in the passenger side head, and you'll have more benefit.
