bad tps? code 22

was reading .710 (speed density) and 4.30 at wot. Got a code 22 after I had it smogged then it started jumping around from .20-.30 and 3.20-3.50 at wot. now its .0 and 2.50-2.80 at wot. Unplugged the third terminal its reading .250-3.20 jumping around. I believe its supposed to be a constant .5. any help is appreciated

Re: bad tps? code 22

Justin,
I'm not familiar with Speed Density but on my car, the TPS sensor is a minimum of .54 and then goes up. It should never go below .54 since this should be the reading with the car off (throttle blades closed).

Hope this helps!
