Crate Engine(again)
OK , Thanks for the input on my last post. I am cosidering a GMPP 350/290 or a GMPP 330HO. My question is can I run stock TPI on these and expect to get the rated carb power? I am thinking I am going to need the standard high flow base and runners and ported plenum, and 52mm TB. But after reading many of the dyno posts it seems like stock TPI can run more HP than I thought. I know it would be more efficient to run the modded stuff, but I am trying to keep costs down. I am tending towards speed density so I know I will need a tune. Thanks for your input..

Re: Crate Engine(again)
Here's a TPI crate engine package suggestion that's pretty much inclusive, takes care of a lot of the guess work too. Heck, I might pony up for one!

Re: Crate Engine(again)
Yeah, that would work but if I had that much mula I would just buy a ramjet 350 and deep six the TPI. A 330HO is going for $2700 at SDPC, so if I can make that work it would be great.
