My uncle sold me his old project 1986 z28... unfortunatly it came to me as a rolling chassis and boxes of parts because at the time i didn't have the money to buy the car with the motor in it. my questions are, does anyone have helpful tips on setup? does anyone have diagrams on the vaccume routing? Electrical? and any other helpful tips and tricks ANY INFO WOULD BE A GREAT HELP!!! thanks. Some info on my car that may be helpful... 1986 camaro z28 with a 350, no air conditioning... any Q's please ask... So the engine isn't original ('87 was the first year for the 350 in a 3rd gen). Is the induction system (FI/carb) original? You might want to pick up a copy of the factory service manual on ebay.

no the motor is not original... i put in a 350 that i have at home... i know that the only motors that came out in camaros in '86 were 305s eccept fot the sport coupe that had a 350 if i remember correctly... but no the motor is not origional but the intake is...
