Sorry for asking such a dumb question. i have a 1991 transAM with a 350 with SLP setup, 350 bored .60, mild cam, Flat tappet, not the original engine, with a 2800- 3200 stall lockup converter.
Probelm is:: I'm getting horrible gas milelage maybe in the 10 or 12 range. I'm not sure what is the concept on a stall, but could running at higher rpms be causing me to burn so much fuel? The car does have a loud fuel sometimes.
Thanks alot for any help or information somene can give.

It could be the higher rpms, but more than likely you have a problem with the fuel pump, the fuel injectors, or the fuel pressure regulator.
You didnt mention if you left it TPI or changed it to something else, but I'll assume TPI.
First thing to do is get an ohm meter and test all 8 injectors while the engine is cold, and then again when the engine is hot. Any injector measuring less than 12 ohms when hot is bad.
