oxygen sensor wire...help please!!
banging my head against the wall here with this car...1987 iroc 305tpi Someone long before me changed the motor in it and the car has been sitting for 10 yrs. I just got it running yesterday and it seems to run ok . I jacked the car up to change the oil and I noticed there is no wire on the o2 sensor, it looks melted off. now here is where I go crazy, I removed the 02 sensor and it looks like there was one black wire thats melted off the end and I was looking around for the other end and I found three wires just dangeling, A redish pink one, a orange with a black stripe and a green one..where the hell does the o2 sensor hook up to? btw this car has headers so maybe thats why it melted but I have no idea..I am still new to this tpi stuff so please bear with me...thanks!!!

Re: oxygen sensor wire...help please!!
The redish-pink wire may be for the O2 sensor. The original color being purple, and may have faded.
The green wire may be for the fan switch. Located in the cylinder head between # 6 & 8. Often switched with the knock sensor wire, which is blue or white.
Not sure about the ORG/BLK wire.
