Any Suggestions?
I have a 1987 Iroc with a 305 TPI. Has a hypertech chip, flowmaster exhaust, and k&n air filters.
I wanna start doing more engine work. Any suggestions?

Re: Any Suggestions?
Welcome newcomer. A 305 tpi isn't a bad place to start. A 305 tbi, would be a bit worse. Anyway, improve the exhaust as much as possible. Headers, hi flow cat, cat back. Then think about the runners and manifold. Search for the "free mods" because on a stock 350 tpi, I saw a 2 tenth gain with free mods alone! Start saving for a 350. Yes, we've been over it a thousand times, 350's are better. End of story. Do mods though, that later you can use when you swap to a 350. All intake parts, exhaust and underdrive pulleys will swap fine when going from 305 to 350. Doing all the little stuff adds up, but if you want real performance, it'll cost money. I know people will tell you to SEARCH but what for you'll ask. Search, TB bypass, weight reduction, smog delete, A/c Delete, air foil, homemade ram air, low temp thermostat, fan switch, descreen MAF, and "free mods". That will keep you busy for a few days. After that look up "AFPR" and porting a plenum. After all of this, you should feel a small difference from the "free mods". They are called that but some things you will spend money, but most of it is under $50 and even a ***** could do these things.
Enjoy.
Enjoy. Thread
