Hi. i wanna build my 4 bolt block that i got and put it in my camaro using the stock TPI. its gonna be like 9.5 to 1 and 2.02 heads. what do i need to change to run this with the TPI setup? i wanna be kinda cheap. and please dont use short hand. im new and i wanna know what the item your talking about is.

Re: 305 to 350 swap with TPI
I swapped my car to a 350 and the only thing that had to be changed was the oil pan. Dipstick was on different sides. The 305 exhaust manifold on the driverside will not allow you to use a older 350 block which has the dipstick on the driverside. I had to use a oilpan that has the dipstick on the driversside of the pan. Hope I explained this to you because this can a problem and needs to be addressed before you install the engine.
Everything else bolted up
I don't think heads with 202 intake valves will fit on the small bore 305. The bore is to small.
