LS1 fuel tank in TPI car, questions

I got a LT1-swapped car which uses the TPI sending unit, TPI fuel pump, and thirdgen gas tank. So, fuel-wise, its just like a TPI setup.

What I want to know is if anyone with TPI has made a plastic LS1 gas tank work. I'm wondering if there is a way to bypass the LS1 fuel pressure regulator that is in the tank, otherwise I have to get a sending unit or tank from a 99+ V6 f-body because the V6's didn't have FPR's in the tank.

As for the rest of the gas tank swap, I can figure out how to hook up the lines and the wires to get it functional.
