Bore Question.. Need information
Im working on a 5.7 TPI from 92 camaro L98..
this is my first rebuild, and need some guide through. i measured through the cylinders one by one.. they all came out as a 4.040 to 4.042ish Looks like every cylinders are in the same size. So what does that mean? Would those be all right? need bore, or what?

Re: Bore Question.. Need information
If they're the same diameter in every direction all up and down the bores, then measure the pistons and calculate the piston-to-bore clearance. If it's within spec you could get away with a honing, otherwise it needs to be bored.

Re: Bore Question.. Need information
The standard bore for a 350 is 4.00 inches. Not forsure what the max is for boring a 350 before having problems.
