I installed an air conditioning pump bracket to intake manifold brace from TPI Parts. This eliminated an annoying vibration around 3000 RPM. The part can be found on the TPI Parts website under discontinued parts.

I purchased the brace from GM when they offered it as a kit referenced in a TSB. It came with the fasteners as well as the double-ended stud for the water pump.

I had to grind it to clear the fuel line(s).

The TPI Parts brace might be different.



Edit: The brace you're talking about is for a serpentine set-up and not a v-belt like mine. Never mind.
