Whats a Good Turbo for a TPI?

I have a '91 Lb9 305. I have an Lt1 Cam, full 2.5'' exhaust 40series flowmasters, edelbrock shorty headers, and thats it. No internal mods except for bored .30 over. 0miles on the motor, I just rebuilt it - now looking for some more power. I want to do a single turbo setup and was wondering which size would be good and which brand. I don't need anything crazy crazy, i'm not expecting 400hp, but something around 320hp? What do you guys recommend for my motor. I don't want to blow the bottom end . I don't need any kits, for I don't have a camaro. Its an '86 regal with a 305.

Are you planning to make your own turbo headers? For a front mounted turbo..

Have you thought about doing a remote turbo setup?

Do you know what your Hp might be at this point.....? Adding 14.7psi (1 bar) of boost theoretically doubles your Hp. So if you want approx 320 Hp you can do the math

200Hp + 14.7 psi= 400Hp
10psi /14.7psi=.68 +1 X 200=336Hp.........

Re: Whats a Good Turbo for a TPI?

I will be building my own manifolds for the turbo. I only want to do a single mount turbo and probably won't do any kits. The car I have is a '86 regal and some of the g-bodys came turbod, so intercooler location isn't an issue. I was just wonder which turbo would be a good size. Thanks for tips everybody
