Almost ready to start but I have a few questions

I am working on my TPI powered truck and I have just a few simple questions. Question 1: On the bottom of the throttle body there is a water port broken off, can I get by without running the coolant through the throttle body? Question 2: 24# injectors, 58mm throttle body, 100psi fuel pump with a 40psi fuel regulator, will these numbers work together? Any suggestions or comments welcome. If someone has a goor routing diagram for vacuume and coolant, I sure could use them right about now.

You don't need to run the coolant lines to the throttle body. I've found that it runs better without the added heat to the intake. If this is a 350, the stock injectors are 22lb/hr, so running 24s will require a custom chip. The 58mm throttle body might kill a little of the low end grunt these engines are known for.

I'm running 24s in mine and it's fine. The injector pulses are shorter, but that's OK. You might be a little rich when running open loop though. I use a heated O2 sensor so it's not in OL for very long.

Yeah a 58mm is way to big, but it should not hurt you that much. Some say that doing the coolant bypass gives you more power, I yet to see any dyno results that prove it makes any difference
