ok my harness in my 88 gta is a tad beat up. So i chose to buy a better used harness from a guy on this site. really good guy to deal with so i won't mention any names. He told me that it was also from a 88 gta and i got it during the summer. Anyways upon removing my old harness, and comparing it with the new one, they are differant. i will post pics of em as soon as i can, biggest differances i noticed right off, the plugs inside, the new harness has one more plug (small rectangular, seprate from the others) mine doesn't have this. after exiting the fender, the branch that runs down the passenger side is thicker and includes the somg and right side tpi harness plugs, where mine doesn't have this there are two seperate branches. also it is differant on the drivers side firewall then mine. my questions are, what year harness is it? and can I /should I mess with making it work on my car? the plugs seem the same, it was really cold last night so i called it quits after noticing the differances. any help would be greatly appreciated. This car has been plagued with electrical issues for the longest time so i have decided to replace the harness in an attempt to correct them. i would have prefered a drop in harness but a good one seems really hard to find thanks again and i will post pics to help with determing what can be done.

 

Photos of the plugs and/or wire colors in the plugs would be very helpful.
