Intake Runner Bolt

I need a replacement intake runner bolt for my 92 TPI. The Chevy Dealer tells me that the shorter style bolts are still available but the longer bolt (like the ones that go under the runner pairs) are no longer available. Does anyone know of a source for these?

I think the Torx head bolts were a bad idea for the runners......the ones below the runner pairs are a pain in the ASSSSS to get to!

Re: Intake Runner Bolt

I got a full set from TPI parts.net. If you email them they will thell you the size thread. Then you can just get a replacement at the hardware store.

Thanks guys! I found them on ebay with the allen heads. $23 for black and $34 for stainless + $7 freight.

Re: Intake Runner Bolt

If you like to browse catalogs (who doesn't??), you can get pretty much any kind of fastener here:

http://www.mcmaster.com/

Unfortunately, you have to by a lot more than you really need. But the price isn't too crazy.

I needed eight 3/8-16 serrated flanged nuts. I had to buy a box of 100. What the heck am I going to do with the left over 92 nuts?

Then a few days later I found the same nuts in a package of 10 at Lowe's. But they were only a few bucks cheaper than the box of 100.
