Rebuilt TPI Distributor Questions....
Hey guys,
I recently purchased a Cardone rebuilt distributor and I have a question. When I turn the distributor shaft by hand, it seems to bind occasionally. Like the shaft is slightly tight in the bearing. It isn't terrible and its not consistent either. If it was, I would assume the shaft was bent. I just would like to know if it would pose a problem before installing. Am I splitting hairs? A friend of mine got it for me so its a little difficult to return if I needed to.
Any help is appreciated!

Sounds more like the reluctor wheel passing the magnets on the pickup coil.
