86 Z-28 TPI hesitation

I put in an MSD ignition(cap/rotor/coil) into my 86 Z28. Now the car seems to be hesitating occasionally, and when I put on the air/heat it occasionally acts like it wants to stall. What should I look at? I also had a code 36 that I attempted to remedy, could that have something to do with my issue? I am looking for some help before I do something to get me in over my head. Thanks for any help!

How is your idle quality? My car does exactly what yours does in addition to a rough idle all due to some bad injectors.

Re: 86 Z-28 TPI hesitation

Intially the car idles a little bit high...thne it comes down into the 750-550 rpm range after a few minutes or a couple of revs. When it is driving the car runs like a scalded dog. I wonder if it has something to do with the MSD stuff. The car had basic replacement cap/rotor and original coil...it ran better, but not perfect before. the msd cap was a pain to get to fit on the stock hei distributor, i was wondering if that had something to do....i am just plain confused!
