motor transplant 88 to 91
So I have a mildly built 355 in my 88 IROC and I'm going to pull it and put it in my 91 Z28. I bought the 91 as a roller. All the wirring looks intact and in good shape, I know that I need to change the knock sensor. I'm going to weld up the hole for the 9th injector in the runners and the fuel rail. I couldn't find part numbers on the spark module. Other than the knock and map sensor I know I will need is there anything else that I need to change?

TPI?
If so, you'll have to swap the MAF sensor. Or you can pull the ECM from the 91 and all it's related TPI sensors over to the 88.

Yes I'm very aware of that fact. If you read the last line of the post I mentioned that I already know the 91 is a speed density setup. I checked part numbers on the temp sensor and such they all seem to be the same the one major piece I couldn't find an answer for is the spark control module

Spark control is handled by the ecm.
So,if your 91 roller has the w/h and 1227730 ecm,you should be in good shape.
