Axle/Gears: no idea

86-89 yes shouldnt be a problem
but.... 85 was the first yr for thirdgen tpi and had different sensor styles etc...
updates and revisions were made for 86 and are not interchangable with 85 same goes for the air temp sensor in the plenum
