Additional Vacuum Port
Additional Vacuum Port
Hi :
i'm installing three gauges , one of these is a mechanical vacuum gauge , i don't have any extra vacuum port in my intake mainfold ( engine is 305 Lb9 of 87) , IIRC , one for brake booster , one for FPR , and another one looks goin' inside the car , looks like HVAC pr something. where i can hook up the fitting ?
I'm gettin' stuck.
Thanks

Re: Additional Vacuum Port
Get a t-fitting and hook it up to the one for the HV/AC.
Re: Additional Vacuum Port
Thanks for the answer, yesterday i checked those hoses , in the HVAC line , there's a T-Fitting, following this route :
MAINFOLD then T-Fitting , on the T-Fitting , one for HVAC and another for a misterious thing like a flying saucer.|
This thing like a flying saucer, near the evap canister , looks like a cruise control servo ( LINK ) , and my turn signal switch has the cruise control option (a switch in the edge).
i'm planning to remove the cruise control , so , i can safely remove the hose going to the cruise control servo , and hook up the hose for the gauge , no ?
I owe a beer

Thanks for your answer , and sorry about my crap English.
