How does this sound?
305 haters need not reply!
The ol' 'vert only has 55K easy miles on it, so in as much as I just want a little more pep and not a fire breather, I figured I'd just spruce it up a bit.
So far the purchases are:
Edelbrock 1 5/8 headers
GM Ramjet Cam (196/206 .460/.481 w/1.6 rockers 109 Tame I know but I want torque and something easy to tune)
Crane AFPR
Pacesetter catback (I'll be running w/o a cat)
MSD 6A, coil, wires, cap/rotor, Ir plugs
Planning on:
TPIS base and runners
Trickflow 175 heads
Mild (2000-2400) stall
'Vette servo
I've got new 19# Accel injectors installed which I believe will be enough for my purpose. Also, I've researched it and the stock 48mm TB with a foil will flow 700 CFM so I see no need to change that. And, I'm up in the air about the rear gear. I'd like to keep the 2.73 for that super relaxed cruising but don't want to give away too much of the "point and shoot" I'm looking for. Again, I don't need the fastest thing on the street. Just enough to put the Civics in their place.
Comp Cams "Desktop Dyno" says 320 horse, 420 torque, which I think is a little optimistic. I think(hope) 275/ 375 is attainable.

I would have went with a little bigger cam. Something around 210 dur. on int. side should be fine with stock chip but a tune will give you more. Should be fun to drive with every thing your getting. I have those heads but have not been home to put them on yet. Good luck with the build.

find a set of 3:45 gears, you wont be dissapointed
you wont lose much mileage maybe 1-2 mpg or so... when i went from 3:45's to 3:73's i stayed at 20 mpg highway at 60 mph cruise
