Can a FUEL PUMP problem be intermitent ? HELP !
My 91 Trans Am had very little fuel pressure last night (but it ran, just badly) and this morning it ran great ! (39psi w/ vacuum)
Can the fuel pump be the problem ?
There is no fuel in the regulator vacuum line !
The fuel pump was getting the same voltage !
* It is the original fuel pump and this car has sat for about 12 to 18 months before I purchased it this week, it was only being started and drove up and down the driveway about once a week I was told !

It could of you have a bad ground or connection would also check or change fuel filter could be cutting off the flow or reducing it. Another thing check the regulator could be going bad
As for sitting??? dont know could be but so far my camaro sat for 2 years before I got it and it sat two years just getting moved around and once in a while trip around the block oh yea and when gas fell real low went and filled it up

more than likely its the relay. i had the same problem and thought it was the pump and found out the relay was acting up. alot easier to change a relay than drop the rear and tank to do the pump. TRUST ME!!!! troubleshoot it youll find the problem.
