I have a custom TPI harness in my 82 Corvette and while I was trying to datalog it quit running.

Now it won't start, so I checked timing, fuel pressure etc all that is ok.

I turn the ignition on and put a test light on the pink wire going to the injector and it's dead...no 12 volts

If I understand correctly there is supposed to be 12 volts with ignition on at the pink wire and the ecm supplies ground to pulse the injectors.

From the factory these wires were fused (pink) one for each side.....but if memory serves me correctly this custom harness wasn't fused...at least I don't think it was??

Does anyone have one of these 90-92 TPI harnesses from TPI parts? Or maybe the install manual?

You didn't happen to enable the vats by mistake did you?
A buddy of mine tuned my t/a a few weeks back to make my 305 memcal run the l-98 vette engine,and he forgot about my car not having vats.So needless to say,it wouldn't start at first attempt.

 

Don't think so, it was running up until I did a datalog, just trying to go through and check a few things....I'll get back to that later

Just got your front carpet out of the car, I just asked my wife to run a vacuum over it

 

Its gotta be something simple then,like a ground wire off or something?
Blown fuse for the ecm?
I don't have any exp. with custom harnesses but,theres really not a whole lot involved in a setup for a 1982 car.

Thank you for cleaning up the rug before sending it but,will probably be dirty again before its finally installed.LOL!
