I have been having many problems out of my 87 GTA 350 TPI. Im fairly new to the TPI systems, I have always went with older Carb. cars. When i first got the car it was throwing code 36, it spitted a little and stalled once or twice then quit. the out of the blue, it started stalling constantly and throwing code 34. So I changed the MAF, the MAF power and burn off relays, then the TPS. It also heats up and over heats while driving on the highway, but as soon as you hit town it cools back down and runs close to normal. it is actually over heating and boiling out not just the guage saying its hot. after changing the MAF, it threw code 34, after changing the relays and TPS it throws codes 22, 32 and 33. any help would be appreciated. it does not help previous owner cut and spliced some wires, i believe i have that fixed, but can't figure out why the TPS code when its brand new. or the EGR and MAF codes. could it be a bad ECM? Someone suggested i switch it out, just wondered what the chances were of that helping since they are kinda pricey. thanks.
