How to swap a Carb for a TPI?
I'm just trying to swap out my 305 carb for a complete TPI, the thing is i don't know what i am doing as far as the wiring goes and would like to know are there any download able installation manuals online or can someone who has been through this can tell me step by step wiring procedures???

Honestly you'll probably have to get the whole wiring harness out of a donor car to do it. If you had that and the right distributor, fuel pump, and intake then it should work just fine. You'll need the computer too.

well i got the wiring harness and cpu, just need to get the fuel pump. Will the wiring just be easy as pluggin female to male or is it something else.

No, you can't use the same fuel pump unless its originally a tpi fuel pump with a fuel pressure regulator on it. It won't pump nearly enough psi.
