fuel rail lines

I was wondering if anybody has ever switched their lines on their fuel rail? I need to have my pressure and return line moved so that I can run my fuel lines a different way. can somebody explain to me how to do this or what parts i should get to help me do this.

Re: fuel rail lines

Just did this swap on my '85 Elky, so if you have any specific questions, just PM me. As for the fuel lines, there is a guy on Ebay that will modify your fuel rail to have the lines exit at the passenger side at the back of the engine. Some folks have used Corvette rails, which both exit on the passenger front ( I have heard there might be some clearance issues with the Alternator). I wound up using a Dorman kit with a 36" repair line to run from the stock F body position back to the Elky feed line, and connected the return to the Elky Vent line via a short Dorman repair Line ( 18"). I ran a new vent line ( 5/16 Fuel Hose) back to the tank for the Charcoal Cannister.
