Corvette cam in Speed density rebuild
Does anyone know if I can use a Corvette cam in a stock speed density rebuild without reprogramming my camaro chip?
My TPI is a 1990 Camaro 350 speed denstiy system...

The L98 Corvette cam is the VERY SAME cam as the 1990-1992 LB9/L98 Camaro/Firebirds.

Thanx for your reply... do you know any ways of making more power with Speed density without reprograming the chip?

Thats all good, except when reading his signature, I noticed he was running the TPI in a 5,000 lbs K5 Blazer. Thats where the tuning will differ. I started my TPI 350 in the Van with a custom tuned .bin from Z-Industries. It had more than a little detonation from the timing advance table. Even the stock AUJP Timing table had too much advance in it at lower rpms and higher loading.

hahha, CORVETTE? come one, its all about crane radical cams with rhoads hydraulic lifters, an advanced mechanical timing gear drive with the knock sensor delete, and a resistor in place of it. running a 50000volt coil and forced ram induction. open exhaust and custom chip. all of which is bad for my LB9 but a dude like me can dream. someday man.. but ya corvette cams are pretty chill, i was going to do that to my pickup, but decided not to, i heard those cams are brittle. idk i rolled it anyway.
