code 43

so a code 43 is a esc wich i read is only in cars from 85 to 88 iv got a 90 so my problm is the knock sencer but iv have a 74 block with no place to put the sencer waht do i do

Thats a tough one, I'm sure hope someone with more experience will chime in and point you in the right direction.

I'm sure you don't need a Knock sensor if you only plan on daily driving it and not modding it too much. You could maybe have it tuned out. Maybe in the meantime, run a couple degrees less timing. Base is 6* which is good, put it down to 4* to be safe??
