i have a 1989 iroc that i put a 1991 5.7 tuned port in, and now its giving me some issues.. When i did the engine swap i put a new fuel pump in, now when i drive around , it starts making a loud howll noise, then stops for a minute..

also the big issue is that it was out of a automatic car and my car is a manual, so if i am driving along and put it in neutral, and as im coasting the engine will just die.... so idk what its deal is. then it will start right back up.

i replaced the map sensor few weeks ago, replaced the iac a little while back, and checked my tps voltage.. so i dont know what is up, if it is the injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or a bad map sensor or something else. also dont know if it is ignition, or something to do with fuel...

when i checked the fuel pressure today, when i turned the key it went to 40 psi, then right when the fuel pump stoped, it went to 0 psi almost imidiatlley.....Well if someone could help me out that would be great. Thanks

 

check the fuel injectors and the computer the same happened to mine and that fixed it

 

how do i check the injectors? and also the computer?
