AFPR Reasoning?
AFPR Reasoning?
I did a few searches and wasn't really finding an answer. What is the purpose of buying an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator and turning the fuel pressure up to around 50 psi? Do TPI cars benefit from the increased richness at WOT? Does it improve injector atomization? Other?
I'm just thinking if it's a richness thing I'll just add more fuel to the tune and forget the afpr.
Thanks

Re: AFPR Reasoning?
There's no real value to a AFPR in an unmodified car. However in a modified car, it can be used to increase the max flow or to modify the open loop flow (since the ECM assumes the FP is stock).
