Define major changes. The harness could be modified for TPI. Check a wire diagram for what sensors you will need and go from there.

Yes you can, but yes it requires major changes. Check the TBI to TPI sticky post at the top of the TPI forum, and read the TBI to TPI tech article in the Tech Articles section of the main website.
